Adams Speedline
The Adams Speedline driver is one of the premier tour drivers and has six tour wins over the last year and is featured on Golf Digest's Hot List for 2009. The Speedline is the first of its kind because it has been designed to be the most aerodynamic club on the market. This has been achieved using technology found only in a wind tunnel. When a club is more aerodynamic, the golfer can produce higher swing speeds because there is less air drag on the club. In fact, it boasts as much as 50% less drag than traditional drivers and has measured a three to four mile per hour increase in the speed of the club head. This also translates into increased distance - as much as nine yards - without any extra effort from the golfer.
There are three elements of the Adams Speedline that were redesigned to decrease drag - the more aerodynamic crown, scoop from the toe to the heel, as well as an improved transition from body to face. It has a combination graphite and alloy shaft which dampens vibrations and offers a soft feel.
For those golfers that prefer a draw biased-shaped club, the Adams Speedline Draw has a head that is slightly offset to decrease the chance of slicing the ball.
